Florida makes its first road trip under head coach Tammi Reiss on Sunday, visiting Chattanooga at 2 p.m. ET at McKenzie Arena. The game streams on SEC Network+ (ESPN+).

The Gators (2-0) arrive unbeaten. Kiyomi McMiller scored 42 points in Thursday's 95-65 win over UCF, making 14 of 25 shots, seven 3-pointers and 7 of 8 free throws. She added four steals. The Mocs (1-1) are coming off a 61-50 loss at Western Kentucky.

Florida's scoring punch

McMiller, a 5-foot-9 junior guard, opened the season with 31 points against Bucknell. That gives her 73 points in two games. Against UCF, she made 7 of 10 from beyond the arc.

She has help. Vivian Iwuchukwu, a 6-foot-3 junior forward, scored 20 against UCF on 6-of-7 shooting and went 8 of 12 at the line. Sophomore guard Vanessa Harris scored 26 in the opener and grabbed 12 rebounds against UCF. Senior forward Jade Weathersby came off the bench for 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The glass has been Florida's edge. The Gators outrebounded UCF 49-25, including 20-4 on the offensive end, and turned those chances into 14 second-chance points.

Chattanooga's defense meets a test

Chattanooga's defense has carried it so far. The Mocs forced 20 turnovers and blocked 10 shots in an 85-44 opening win over UVA Wise. At Western Kentucky, they held the Hilltoppers to 32.2% shooting and 4 of 22 from 3-point range.

The offense struggled early in that loss. Chattanooga made 1 of 14 shots in the first quarter and scored two points, then shot 10 of 14 in the second. The Mocs also committed 19 turnovers, which Western Kentucky turned into 23 points.

TaTianna Stovall, a 6-foot-1 sophomore forward from Cleveland, Tennessee, has scored 15 points in both games. Senior guard Sarah Owona is averaging 10.5 points. Junior guard Gabbie Grooms has eight assists and 12 rebounds in two games.

What decides Sunday

Possessions and rebounds are the swing points. Chattanooga has 35 turnovers in two games, while Florida has 22. Florida has a 31-12 edge on the offensive glass across its two wins. If the Mocs limit second chances and take care of the ball, their half-court defense can slow the pace.

The teams last met Nov. 6, 2025, when Florida won 94-52 in Gainesville. Chattanooga led 24-19 after one quarter that day before Florida won the second quarter 28-4.

What's next

Florida hosts South Florida on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m. ET on SEC Network+. Chattanooga plays at Northern Kentucky the same day at 11 a.m. ET.
